Cáritas Coimbra disseminates GrowMeUp project in H2020 Session which brought together over 100 participants
Cáritas Diocesana de Coimbra received, at 6th May, more than a hundred participants in the Enlightenment Session of Horizon 2020 – Opportunities in the 2016/2017 Calls and Legal and Financial Aspects, directed to entities of the non-business sector. In this conference, the GrowMeUp was presented and disseminated.
The H2020 Session was an opportunity to the present entities, that intend to apply for support, receive useful information and realize the best way to meet partners, create good consortium groups and propose feasible and able ideas to succeed.
The GrowMeUp project, a technological project aimed to improve and test an innovative robot, GrowMu, that will support people over 65 years in their daily activities, attracted the attention of the session participants who wanted to learn more about its concept and development.
This project is co-financed by the European Union, under Horizon 2020 funding program, involving eight partners from six different countries, led by the University of Coimbra (in addition to UC and Caritas Coimbra, the participants are the University of Geneva, Zuyderland, the University of Cyprus, PAL Robotics, ProBayes and Citard iT Services) that are cooperating in developing the system.
