Cáritas Coimbra presents vision at the European Summit for Innovation on AHA | Brussels, 5-8 Dec
Cáritas Diocesana de Coimbra will participate as a speaker at the European Summit on Innovation for Active and Healthy Ageing: Transforming the future of Health and Care in Europe, which will take place from 5 to 8 of December.
This is the largest European event in the area of active and healthy aging promoted by the European Commission and this year will have an international audience (Government of Japan, Canada and USA), G7 Ministers, representatives of the World Health Organization and OECD – Organization for Cooperation and Economic Development.
Carina Dantas will present, on 6th December, the TD3 People & Communities panel, the income from participation in European innovation projects in terms of sharing and organizational growth among the actors in different areas.
On the 7th, Carina will be in charge of the general presentation of group D4 of EIP-AHA, in the session TD 18 Action Groups delivering results (D4).
On December 8 Carina will be in charge of the presentation of the neighborhood of the future in Coimbra, in the panel “What an ideal Neighborhood of the Future looks like in Coimbra 2026-2030?”, at the Conference Neighborhoods of the Future.
At the same Conference, she will be one of the institutional guests for the discussion panel Building the Roadmap for a European Reference Model for Age-friendly Homes, which aims to plan the future, joining the vision of leading organizations that can inspire others and help To set the way forward – speakers include the Assistant Director of the DG Connect Unit (European Commission), the Director of the AAL Program, the Director of the Microsoft Innovation Center, and others.
Cáritas Coimbra, as an entity represented in the Vice Presidency of the European Convenant on Demographic Change and the coordinators of Group D4 of the European Innovation Partnership for Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP-AHA) by Carina Dantas and Ana Jegundo, will also participate in the Event as a member of the Ageing @ Coimbra consortium and the GrowMeUp project, which will have its own stand at the event to interact with the GrowMu robot.
