BIOGRAPHY
Diana Guardado has about 10 years of experience coordinating innovation research projects in the area of eHealth, Active and Assisted Living and Quality of Life.
She has a Degree (Pre-Bologna) and a Continuity Master’s Degree in Visual Information Technologies from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra.
In September 2020 she joined the team of the Innovation Department of Cáritas Diocesana de Coimbra where she manages European projects (mostly H2020 and AAL), contributing to deliverables, writing articles, defining the strategic plan of the innovation department and also representing the institution in events and networks. Diana is responsible for coordinating various Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) validation initiatives to support active and healthy aging, with end users and is a member of the coordinating group for Ageing@Coimbra, 4 stars reference site of the European Innovation Partnership of Active and Healthy Aging.
Diana Guardado was strategy mentor in several European health entrepreneurship and innovation contests and member of the AAL Forum 2017 organizing committee, the largest event at European level within the scope of AAL (Active and Assisted Living) whose main objective is to expose and publicize existing solutions (products and services) in the area of ICT that promote active and assisted aging.
Between 2010 and 2020 she was project and innovation ecosystem manager at the Laboratory for Automation and Systems of the Instituto Pedro Nunes.
