BIOGRAPHY
PhD in Nursing; Specialist in Nursing of the Mental Health and Psychiatric (Postgraduate Course in Nursing of Mental Health and Psychiatric, 2013); Postgraduate in Clinical Supervision, by Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto (2010); Master in Nursing, by Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto (2008).
Junior research in Nursing School of Coimbra (ESEnfC) The Health Sciences Research Unit: Nursing (UICISA: E). Rosa was Assistant Professor at the Health Sciences Institute of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto, since 2012 to 2020; Rosa collaborated in several curricular units in the context of the degree in nursing, specialization course in mental health and psychiatric, and in the Master’s degree in Gerontology and Geriatric Care. From 2003 to 2012, Rosa worked as a general care nurse in clinical surgery settings.
Rosa Silva has a wide field of research in the area of cognitive impairment (mild cognitive impairment and dementia) and non-pharmacological interventions aimed at improving cognitive performance and controlling psycho-behavioral symptoms.
Rosa is a member of the reviewer team of the Joanna Briggs Institute, and belongs to the staff member of the Portugal Centre for Evidence-Based Practice: A Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Centre of Excellence (PCEBP); Rosa is also reviewer in other journals and member of the editorial team of the Revista Portuguesa de Enfermagem de Saúde Mental;
